Collaboration gives multiple people access to one project with explicit roles. Permissions are not only visual organization; they are a security boundary.
Roles
Owners manage the project and members, editors perform permitted work, and viewers review without changing it. Some tools can differ by role.
Invite a member
Enter the correct account and choose the lowest role that can complete the work. Explain the project context outside the platform when the invitation alone is unclear.
Manage access
Review members regularly and reduce or remove access when it is no longer needed. A role change does not rotate secrets a member previously saw.
Project collaboration
A practical rule is to start with Viewer and elevate the role only when a member needs to make changes.
