Project Doc

Project Doc is a live reflection of what Codey is building. It starts from the requested concept, then replaces assumptions with the project's actual images and identity as they arrive. It runs alongside the build and does not hold it up.

When does it appear?

It is created automatically with the first build request for a new project, in the Project Doc tab that replaces Plans in the web workspace. Sections fill in progressively during execution, it works with every build quality mode including Auto, and there is nothing to start manually.

Overview

Overview explains what the project is building and why, presents the intended experience, and shows feature cards with names and descriptions. The project owner can also start sharing the document from this surface.

Design and actual identity

Before the build finishes, a dashed theme preview shows a proposed palette, heading and body fonts, and a style line. After the first successful build, the actual logo or icon, site thumbnail, code-derived palette, and live font samples replace it. Select any color to copy its hex value.

Images during the build

The Images tab shows generated assets as soon as they arrive, with zoom, download, and regeneration when the original prompt is available. Until then, Planned images explains what the document expects to produce.

Technical and plan history

Technical contains execution steps, checklist states, and out-of-scope items. Plan history remains the unchanged archive of older plans, separate from the current document.

Export and public sharing

Download Markdown or JSON, copy the text, or use Print to save a PDF. Owners can create a read-only codeyy.ai/doc/{token} link with no cost figures and revoke it from the same menu; creating a new link invalidates the previous one.
