Live preview
Live preview is your window onto your app as it pulses with life. Every change the assistant makes is reflected in it instantly — you don't need any build step or upload to see it.
Where do I find it?
In your workspace, go to the Preview tab on the left side. You'll find your app displayed inside a live frame. When the assistant is working, the preview automatically updates to reflect the latest changes.
Mobile or desktop?
You can toggle the preview between desktop view and mobile view with one click. This matters: most of your visitors will browse from their phones, so always make sure your app looks great on small screens as well as large ones.
Open it in a separate tab
For a wider experience, you can open the preview in a separate browser tab. This is useful for testing the app at full screen, or for navigating between its pages freely as a real user would.
Control buttons
- Reload — to refresh the preview manually if you want to.
- Run — to wake up the preview if it's in sleep mode to conserve resources.
- Open in tab — to display the app at full screen in a separate window.
The preview is yours alone
The preview is a temporary development environment for you alone while you work — not the published version for the public. To share your app with the world, go to publishing your app.
If the preview appears "asleep" after a period of inactivity, that's normal — idle previews are stopped to conserve resources, and come right back when you press the run button or send a new request.
