How to describe your idea
The quality of what the assistant builds starts with the quality of your description. You don't need technical jargon — you need clarity about what you want. This page teaches you how to talk to the assistant to get what's in your mind right the first time, most of the time.
Be specific, not brief
"Make me a website" is a vague request that leaves all the decisions to the assistant. Instead, describe the purpose, sections, and style. Compare the two requests:
Vague
“Make a website for a dental clinic.”
Clear
“Make a website for a dental clinic called "Smile". I want a homepage with a description of the clinic and an image, a services section (cleaning, orthodontics, cosmetics) with icons, a section for the doctor's team, and an appointment booking form at the bottom. The style is clean and medical with blue and white colors.”
Build in stages
Don't try to describe everything in one massive message. Start with the basic structure, then add and refine message by message. The assistant remembers your project context, so gradual building gives you finer control and cleaner results.
Think of it as a conversation with a skilled designer: you give them the big picture first, then you both refine the details together.
Describe real content
If you have real text, names, or prices, give them directly to the assistant in your request. That way it builds your app with your actual content instead of placeholder text you have to change later.
Specify style and feeling
Words that describe feeling make a big difference: "elegant and luxurious", "playful and colorful for kids", "serious and corporate", "simple and modern". Mention favorite colors if you have them. The assistant picks up these cues and translates them into cohesive design.
