Voice coding
Sometimes speaking is faster and more natural than typing. Voice coding lets you talk through your request while the assistant turns it into work — an experience closer to collaborating with a colleague than operating a tool.
How it works
- 1
Speak your request
Press the microphone button in the workspace and describe what you want naturally with your voice.
- 2
The assistant understands
It converts your speech to text and understands your intent exactly as if you had typed it.
- 3
It responds and builds
It executes your request and can respond to you by voice — a complete dialogue in your voice.
When is it useful?
- When your ideas are faster than your fingers.
- For detailed, long descriptions — speaking is easier than typing.
- When you prefer a more natural experience and dialogue.
Speak clearly
As with written requests, clarity helps. Speak in complete, organized sentences, and describe sections and style as you would in writing.
Where do you find it?
Voice coding is available in the workspace: you'll find the microphone button next to the chat box — press it to start a direct voice conversation with the assistant and explain what you want naturally.
