Stop and continue a task

Last reviewed:

Continue task appears when a task can resume and has actual unfinished work. Not every delivery note needs another work round.

Continue remaining work

  1. 1

    Read why it stopped

Open the task card in chat or Task history. Review the result, remaining work, and balance. If you stopped the task yourself, stopping keeps completed work and does not erase its usage.

  2. 2

    Address the blocker

If the message asks for a top-up or decision, complete that first. If the task is still running or queued, wait for its status instead of starting a duplicate request.

  3. 3

    Click Continue task when offered

A new round continues remaining work in the same task. Wait for progress and delivery; duration depends on what remains. Actual work in this round can use credits.

  4. 4

    Read the response

If the platform says there is nothing to continue, no paid round starts and the click itself costs no credits. If the connection fails, refresh the state and retry if needed.

Stop a running task

  1. 1

    Click Stop

Use Stop while Codey is working. Wait for the stopped state; sending a stop request does not mean all work stops at that instant.

  2. 2

    Review saved progress

Read the result card and open Preview. If continuation is offered, use it for unfinished work. For a different request, write a new message.

Refunds apply only to platform faults. Stopping a task, reaching a spending cap, or disliking the design does not guarantee a refund. See Credits and billing.
